Mad Rabbit Tattoo
Mad Rabbit is a company committed to reinventing the tattoo care space by producing products that are simple, effective, and reliable. Mad Rabbit was founded in 2019 by two friends, Selom Agbitor and Oliver Zak, who have a passion for ink. They seized an opportunity to develop a superior natural solution to help improve the healing process after realizing the lack of effective and all-natural products.
Mad Rabbit is inspired by tattoo artists who get up every day to create beautiful art on client’s bodies - the ones that produce work that reflect memories and milestones. These artists put time into creating art, so Mad Rabbit puts the effort into making sure the tattoos keep their natural vibrancy.
In 2021, Mad Rabbit appeared on Shark Tank Season 12 and landed a deal with Mark Cuban. Now, the tattoo care company continues to grow each year, providing more products to meet all tattoo care needs.
BUSINESS CARD
After speaking with the Mad Rabbit team and getting to know their personalities, I knew I needed to design a business card that reflected them, as well as the Mad Rabbit brand as a whole. The team is edgy, fun, driven, and forward-thinking; always working to enhance Mad Rabbit in order to serve more individuals with tattoos. To showcase this mindset, I looked towards new, unique forms of printing. Black on black proved to be a fan favorite amongst the team. To interweave brand elements, the grid and dashed lines seen on their website, were placed on the front and back of the card. Now, this card serves as a tool to help Mad Rabbit make a strong first impression that shows that they are professional and serious about business.
PACKAGING
Mad Rabbit is always growing and expanding its products to reach more customers’ tattoo needs. When asked by an investor to make the logo more forward-facing on their new line of products, Mad Rabbit reached out to me to make it happen. Packaging takes time. Therefore, these are the first iterations that will inspire future product designs.
Social MEdia Advertisements
Every great product needs advertisements to get the word out to the world. Mad Rabbit does a great job marketing their brand. While their growth has largely been organic, Mad Rabbit does partner with influencers, famous tattoo artists, athletes, and models. The company has also invested in tattoo education, research, and gathering feedback from its customers. One founder, Oliver Zak said, “I think our secret sauce is this community of tight-knit people that we’ve been able to build.”
Below, I had he opportunity to create both Instagram post and story content that will be shared with their wide-reaching audience.
