On May 20, 2022, the TODAY Show shot their full Third Hour live from Hilton Head Island. The communications team at the Hilton Head Island-Bluffton Chamber of Commerce & VCB worked with the producers throughout the process to help them uncover the best of Hilton Head Island. The show talked about the island’s turtle protection efforts, featured local chefs and Gullah cuisine, and showcased various locations around the island. With over 2 million viewers, this show was phenomenal coverage for Hilton Head Island and made possible through the TODAY Show’s partnership with VRBO.
